In 1993, when Tim was 3, he was diagnosed with ALL. Thank God for the doctors and staff at TCH and MD Anderson. He has lived a very active life as a competitive swimmer and soccer player. Tim just finished his Associates degree and is looking forward to finishing his B.S. at UH. Prayers to you and to Caleb. I know big Caleb will get through this - and have his graduation - wedding and "happily ever after!" God Bless you all!Let's open doors. We will have you and Caleb in our daily prayers at our house. Your strength and courage will be hard to find, but it will truly inspire others around you. Don't be afraid to lean on anyone for help. I remember when only 2 weeks after starting chemotherapy, our son was declared "in remission" and has been there for almost 7 years. It was such a short time the leukemia was even in his body I had a moment of denial later that he ever actually had it. The treatment for ALL is so successful today and you couldn't be in better hands with Dr. Dreyer, truly. Blessings and peace to your family. She was admitted to TCH and the journey to fighting this cancer began. ALL the staff and nurses were wonderful. After 30 days she was in remission. She continued treatment for a total of 3 years. She is now 16 and has stayed cancer free. My prayers go out to Caleb and the family. It is a long journey, but you are in great hands with the doctors and nurses there at TCH.
