A big sigh of relief for a few more days. Caleb's blood work looks better and is
promising, but still not where it needs to be to receive chemo. He'll go back on Friday and try again.
We want to say thank you to all of our family and friends
who remain faithful and give us so much help and hope through reassuring words
and prayers during this complicated journey.
We've met several children with the same diagnosis. One
child's blood work has been "off" like Caleb's and she is out of
remission and doing poorly, while the other is doing just fine. We all celebrate the triumphs & hold
close to each other during the down times, because there's no way to predict
what will happen from day to day with this disease.
It's a learning curve for all of us, but it's made easier
by those of you who care. God bless you.
We will continue to praise God during this "storm".
Lots of love and prayers Melissa! Your little guy is such a fighter. Praying for good news at the end of the week and that Caleb finds joy in unexpected places this Christmas season. Love, Sally MacDonald
ReplyDeleteWhat a fighter! Thinking of you all. Thanks for the update.

Great news to hear to things have improved. I'm believing that the situation will improve even more by Friday so that he can continue his treatments. We need to call things as we want them to be.
ReplyDeleteWe'll continue to pray for Caleb, your family, and TCH.
I pray for your family and hope that you find some peace of mind if that's possible. It seems the days are counted by when the next test result will come and what will it say. Keep your head up, we're thinking of you and your family.
ReplyDelete"Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in Him, for He shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between His shoulders!" Deut. 33:12 Still praying and lifting your precious family to our heavenly Father!!
ReplyDeleteThankfully GOD is the "great physician" and is orchestrating Caleb's perfect treatment! We are continuing to pray for sweet Caleb and your family. Love & hugs,
