It has only been a week since this all started! Amazing how quickly life can change.
If all goes well this afternoon they will be coming HOME!!! Caleb needs another blood transfusion today, a few test and then hopefully they will be packin' those bags!
Quote of the day!!!
Mommy asked - "Caleb what are you most excited to see or experience at home?"
With a HUGE SMILE, he replied, "EVERYTHING"!!!
Makes you want to sing, "Today is the day, the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!"
That's great news. If he's getting to go home 6-7 days after starting chemo then everything must be going to plan.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time at home and don't forget to swish and spit. That's probably a boy's favorite part of this!
The Duncan Family
I am so happy to hear that Caleb is able to go home. You know my 3 year old sings "This is the Day that the Lord has made" on a daily basis. He's always so happy when he sings it too. Sing it to Caleb and have him sing it with you. He truly is a blessing. And God has blessed him and healing has begun. This is his day. Praying for Caleb and his family. Enjoy your time at home. Peace and love sent your way.
